Acrylic on canvas. 24” x 30.” Recently having read Gathering Moss by Robin Kemmerer while in the hospital, recovering from stage 1 lung cancer, I have been much more aware of the value, beauty and mystery of moss. That summer needing something to paint, I picked up a handful, including a leaf, after a rain and produced this nature still life.
