Hoo's There? Acrylic on canvas, 16 x 20 inches. Although I have only heard, not seen, a Great Horned Owl (also called a Hoot Owl), at night, I have seen photographs of them during the daytime. I added one here on a branch of the magestic white pine! This was painted mostliy en plein air from our property. It is a marvelous, nurturing and reverent tree--a work of art in itself!
